Hello! I'm C. Thabiso, the founder of SOFIRMTM Academy. With a background in Electronic and Telecommunication, and a passion for Embedded Systems and education, I created this platform to break down tech barriers for African learners.
I've walked the road from student to engineer, often without mentorship, access, or guidance. SOFIRMTM Academy is the vision I wish existed for me — a place to grow, connect, and thrive. I believe in building a better world through knowledge, kindness, and opportunity.

2021: Founded SOFIRM™ Academy
Started with a dream to make technical education accessible and community-driven.
2022: First 500 Learners
Reached our first big milestone with learners across South Africa engaging in courses.
2023: Expanded Curriculum
Introduced embedded systems, frontend development, and hands-on mentorship.
2024: Launched SOFIRM™ Academy Portal
Built our custom platform using Angular and React to host content, communities, and more.
